The download includes two components:
HW Device- A CRM entity that stores the details of each network device you manage & monitor on behalf of your customer using RMM software. The HW Device is linked to Case and or Service Activity entities and it opens the RMM application while in Outlook processing an incident (Case) or allocating remote or onsite Service Activities to your engineers. By creating a link between Service Activities, Cases and HW Devices, you can keep track on related incidents to the managed devices.
Workflow activity plug-in – A background process that connects to RMM software via web services and creates or updates the HW Devices’ list of the Account (company) with the device details such as server specification, installed software or network settings.
